Save, copy, edit or delete a course

Written by Liam Smith

Save

  • Saving is manual. Unsaved changes trigger a warning when leaving.

  • If there are changes to be saved, the Save button will be clickable and read Saves Changes.

  • The button displays Saved when no changes remain.

Copy

Copying first saves unsaved changes. A copy is an independent draft with no published-version history.

  1. Select More.

  2. Select Copy.

  3. Wait for the copied course to open.

  4. Change its title if required.

Edit

Editing a course makes a draft version of it. If the course is published, you will be asked to Create draft instead of Review course.

  1. Find the course in Home.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Select Review course.

Edit conflict

If another person is editing the course, you will see an alert across your screen.

Before you make any changes, select Take over editing. This loads the other persons latest version. If you do not do this, any changes you make may be lost.

Delete

Deletion is permanent. Only draft courses can be deleted.

  1. From Home, find the draft course under All or Drafts.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Confirm Delete course.
